Nicholas Ridout is Lecturer in Performance at Queen Mary University of London. His book, Face to Face: the actor and the audience in the modern theatre, will be published by Cambridge University Press. His work with Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio includes essays for Idioma, Clima, Crono as part of a book to be co-authored with the company and Joe Kelleher, Tragedia Endogonidia, as well as a program of public discussions for the Venice Biennale Theatre Festival (September 2005), to be organized with Kelleher and Claudia Castellucci.
