Peter Billingham is Reader in Drama and Performance at the University of Portsmouth and a writer, theatre practitioner, and researcher. His published work includes Sensing the City Through Television, reviewed as “One of the best books on television drama in recent years” and subsequently translated into Chinese. Billingham is also a dramatist whose play Perfection premiered in London in 2003.
