Paul David Young won the 2009 Paula Vogel Playwriting Award, was runner-up for the 2009 Kendeda Playwriting Fellowship at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, and was a finalist for the 2009 John Cauble Short Play Award. His play Waking Up With Strangers premieres June 29, 2009, in a co-production by Horse Trade Theater Company at the Kraine Theater in New York.
