Configuring Principle

George Quasha, artist/poet, explores a common principle in language, sculpture, drawing, video, sound, installation, and performance. He has written seventeen books, including Ainu Dreams (with Chie Hasegawa); Axial Stones: An Art of Precarious Balance; An Art of Limina: Gary Hill's Works and Writings (with Charles Stein); Preverbs (forthcoming). A 2006 Guggenheim Fellow in video art, his art is: Speaking Portraits records over eight hundred artists/poets/composers in eleven countries and has been exhibited internationally in museums, galleries, and biennials, as well as online.
