BOGDAN GEORGESCU is an artist and social activist who conducts play-writing workshops and serves as project manager for works created in collaboration with communities through Active Art (“The process of revealing the work of art in each of us to transform everyday life into a collective work of art,” according to the author), such as The Sensitive Map, RahovaNonstop, Build your community!, The Evacuation of The Students' Culture House in Timisoara, The Countryside Tour, which focused on creative education and cultural intervention in marginalized and rural communities, and The House of People, a theatre project in the Maximum Security Prison in Craiova.

His plays include: Romania! Kiss Me, Kontakt Festival, Torun, Poland (2012). Romania! Kiss Me appears in the U.S. volume roMANIA after 2000 (Martin E. Segal Theatre Center Publisher).
