Anja Foerschner is a Research Specialist at the Getty Research Institute. She holds an MA in Art Pedagogy and a PhD in Art History from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. Her research focuses on contemporary art from Los Angeles and the Balkans, performance art, feminist art, notions of beauty in art and culture, and the emotion of disgust in art.
