Thomas Peattie is an assistant professor of music at the University of Mississippi. In the fall of 2017, he was an associate research scholar at the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America at Columbia University. He is the author of Gustav Mahler's Symphonic Landscape, and is currently writing a book on the transcriptions of the late Italian composer Luciano Berio.
