Discovering Stephen Varble

Janet Werther is a PhD candidate at The Graduate Center, CUNY, whose dissertation analyzes ambivalent longings for home in queer performance from Reagan to Trump, Werther teaches theatre and performance at SUNY Purchase and in the women, gender, and sexuality studies department at SUNY New Paltz, and is also a performer, choreographer, and performance curator.
