Tomaž Krpič is a lecturer in cultural sociology at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Ljubljana University. His research fields are the sociology of the body, cognitive sociology, and sociology of the arts. He focuses on conditions necessary for establishing intersubjectivity in small communities and the role played by cognition and the body in this process. In the field of sociology of the arts, he investigates the critical potential of modern art.
