Rebecca Kukla is Professor of Philosophy and Medicine at the University of South Florida. She is the author of Mass Hysteria: Medicine, Culture, and Mothers' Bodies (2005), the editor of Aesthetics and Cognition in Kant's Critical Philosophy (2006), and, with Mark Lance, the co-author of ‘Yo!’ and ‘Lo!’: The Pragmatic Topography of the Space of Reasons. Much of her current work concerns the epistemology of risk.
