Concrete Dreams: Architecture and Space in late GDR Film

Aleks Kudryashova is a PhD candidate at the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures at Harvard University. She received an MA degree in Literary and Cultural Studies from the University of Groningen in 2013, after earning her diploma in Philology from the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Her research focuses on urban imagery and imaginary, the relationship between literature, visual arts and architecture.
