Nasser Rabbat, a member of the History, Theory, and Criticism section, is the Aga Khan Professor of Islamic Architecture at MIT. He teaches courses on Islamic architecture, medieval urban history and historiography, and post-colonial criticism and its ramifications for the study of architectural history.
