Stephanie Hammer is Full Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of California, Riverside. She has published 3 books and 20 articles on a wide range of topics including postmodernism, trauma, the 18th Century, the Holocaust, theater, and film. She is also a poet whose work has appeared in Mosaic and Bridges, and is currently working on a collection of poems and short stories.
