Mark Jarzombek is an Associate Professor in the History Theory Criticism § Section at M.I.T. He received his architectural degree from the E.T.H. in Zurich in 1980 and his doctorate in the history of architecture from M.I.T. in 1985. He has written widely on a variety of subjects from the Renaissance to the modern.
