Mark Jarzombek received his architectural degree from the E.T.H. in Zurich in 1980 and his doctorate in the history of architecture from M.I.T. in 1985. He has written widely on a variety of subjects from the Renaissance to the modern. He is currently Associate Professor in the History Theory Criticism Section at M.I.T.
