Teddy Cruz is a Guatemalan-born architect working in the San Diego-Tijuana border region. He is a faculty member at SCI-Arc, where he founded the LA/LA-Latin America/Los Angeles workshop. In 1991 he received the Rome Prize in Architecture and in 1997 a Master of Design Studies from Harvard University. He recently co-edited the Architectural Design issue, "Architecture of the Borderlands."
