Mark Jarzombek received his architectural degree from the ETH in Zurich in 1980 and his doctorate in the History of Architecture from MIT in 1985. He has written widely on a variety of subjects from the Renaissance to the modern. He is currently a professor in the History Theory Criticism Section at MIT.
