J. Meejin Yoon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at MIT and founder of MY Studio (2000) and Howeler + Yoon Architecture (2005). HYA/ MYS recent work was selected for the 2006 National Design Triennial at the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum in New York. Recent public space projects include White Noise White Light, Low Rez Hi-Fi, and Loop, a finalist for the PSl/MoMA Young Architects program. Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago and the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. She is the recipient of the Architectural League of New York's Emerging Voices (2007), the Rome Prize Fellowship in Design (2005), the Metro New York 5 under 35 Award (2005), the Young architects Award (2002), and Fulbright Fellowship in 1997. She received her BArch from Cornell University (1995) and MAUD with Distinction from Harvard Graduate School of Design (1997).
