Mark Jarzombek, Professor of the History and Theory of Architecture, and also Associate Dean of MIT's School of Architecture and Planning. He has taught at MIT since 1995, and has worked on a range of historical topics from the Renaissance to the modern periods. He has recently published a textbook entitled A Global History of Architecture (Wiley Press, 2006) with co-author Vikram Prakash with the noted illustrator Francis D.K. Ching.
