Tijana Vujosevic
Tijana Vujosevic is a 2018–2020 Fellow at the University of Strasbourg Institute of Advanced Studies. She has taught at University of Virginia, MIT and Yale. In July, she is joining the University of British Columbia as an Assistant Professor in History and Theory of Architecture. Tijana holds a Master of Architecture degree from Yale and a PhD in architectural history from MIT. Tijana’s field of interest is the history of modernism in design, art, architecture and planning, with a special focus on the Soviet Union and communist countries. The interdisciplinary research of Dr Vujosevic has appeared in Grey Room, Journal of Design History, Architectural Histories, Slavic and Eastern European Journal, Cultural Geographies, among others. Her book Modernism and the Making of the New Man came out in 2017 with Manchester University Press.
