Contagious Machines: New York City and the Horse Plague of 1872

Adam Longenbach is currently pursuing his PhD in the History and Theory of Architecture at Harvard University. His research interests include vision and visual culture, historical understandings of the body and its relationship to technology, and the rise of mechanization and machine culture from the late-nineteenth to mid-twentieth century.
