Batoul Faour is a Lebanese-Canadian architectural researcher and designer. She holds a B.Arch from the American University of Beirut and has recently completed a post-professional MArch at the University of Toronto. Her interests lie in the intersections of spatial histories, politics, and media. Her ongoing thesis research on the politics and poetics of glass and violence in Beirut has been recently recognized by the Avery Review’s annual essay prize.
