JAMES CRAIG is Associate Professor in Architecture at Newcastle University. His research is transdisciplinary and operates at the intersections of architectural representation, fine art practice, psychoanalysis, and memory studies. His work has been widely published in venues including: Intellect books (2021); Architectural Design (2021); Architectural Research Quarterly (2015); and Princeton Architecture Press (2012). James's drawing work has been exhibited internationally in contexts including: the Royal Academy of Arts (London), the Architectural Association (London), and a83 Gallery (New York). His recent work explores the role that drawing can play as a tool for remembrance in post-traumatic spaces.
