HAJAR ALRIFAI is a Syrian-American architectural designer and storyteller. She received her BArch from the CCNY Spitzer School of Architecture in 2021. Currently, she is a SMArchS candidate in the Aga Khan Program for Islamic Architecture at MIT. Her research draws from oral poetry and folklore to tell new stories about the built environment.
