Christopher P. Magra
Christopher P. Magra is Associate Professor of Early American History at the University of Tennessee. His research focuses on the Atlantic dimensions of the American Revolution. His first book, The Fisherman's Cause: Atlantic Commerce and Maritime Dimensions of The American Revolution (Cambridge University Press, 2009), won the Winslow House Book Prize. He is currently finishing his second book, an analysis of British naval impressment and the Atlantic origins of the Revolution.
