Mary Jo Arnoldi
Dr. Mary Jo Arnoldi is Curator for African ethnology in the Department of Anthropology, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution. She has published several articles on the early twentieth century “ethnographic” bronzes by Herbert Ward in the museum's collection. In 2011, she led the pan-Smithsonian initiative, Talking about Race at the Smithsonian, in conjunction with the American Anthropological Association exhibition, Race: Are We so Different, on exhibit at the National Museum of Natural History from June through December.
