Ricardo Miguel-Alfonso
Ricardo Miguel-Alfonso is associate professor of American Studies and Literary Theory at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. He is the author of El romanticismo en Estados Unidos y la idea de la literatura (American Romanticism and the Idea of Literature, Verbum, 2018) and has recently edited The Fictional Minds of Modernism. He is the author of journal essays and book chapters on such figures as Lydia Sigourney, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, and Nathaniel Hawthorne, and has also translated into Spanish Emerson's Essays and George Santayana's Reason in Art, among other works.
