Substituting the values of k, L1, and L2 in Equation (6) would give us the predicted turning point following Kuznets’ simulation. We used both base-year and end-year data to estimate turning points, as reported in Table 5. Understandably, turning points differ depending on which year's data are used. Some interesting observations emerge.
